One of the many things I have learned from writing this blog and meeting great Pittsburgh people (a huge thank you to everyone who has helped to spread the word about the Steelers Party this Sunday) is an appreciation of good music. Trivia is good and Pub Quiz Night at the brillobox is really good. Every wednesday 9 pm. Bring your friends – gift certificate prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. I would love to learn about other trivia nights. Rumor has it that there is Trivia at the Claddagh Irish Pub on Tuesday night but I have yet to confirm that. more

This Tuesday – all proceeds from Happy Hour at the Brillobox benefits Planned Parenhood of Western, PA. The last Cocktails for a Cause is one of the best happy hours I have attended in a long time. The Brillobox is great and usually has $2 appetizers on Tuesday. Tuesday, December 4, 6-9pm @ The Brillobox. more
