Mardi Gras Celebration!

I was getting a little worried that Pittsburgh had more Groundhog Day celebrations than Mardi Gras celebrations. Penn Brewery to the rescue. I was lucky enough to visit a fellow Pittsburgher in New Orleans for Mardi Gras a few years ago, before the flooding. It was definitely the biggest party I have ever attended. Mardi Gras, like Groundhog Day are holidays that need to be celebrated. So head on over to Penn Brewery for bead, beer and good music. Green $ense

Reason number 298,679 to live in Pittsburgh – GREEN building. You may or may not know that Pittsburgh, which was once known as a very smoky city, is now a pretty green city. There are a ton of resources here for anyone that is interested in green building. I hope to one day do green renovations on old buildings. I love the idea of taking something old and making it greener and better. Thanks to the folks at the Green Building Alliance for sending the information about this conference.
