Good morning Pittsburgh!  While the weather outside might be frightful – 5 days of rain is headed our way – there is plenty of holiday fun to keep you busy this weekend!  Here are all the details with lots of links to more information for the events we shared on WDVE radio this morning.  You can listen to our weekend picks Friday mornings t 6:45 am.

Unblurred on Penn Avenue

  • The first Friday of every month – all of the businesses on Penn Ave in the Friendship/Garfield area stay open late for a gallery crawl.
  • Holiday open house at the Pittsburgh Glass Center
  • Commonplace Voluto Coffee Shop will be serving up pie
  • Holiday Shopping at Tee Rex – stop by for t-shirts, there will be tacos and snacks for sale and beer from East End Brewing for drinking

  • the fun starts at 2pm sharp in Market Square
  • Santa is forgoing the sleigh and has chartered a boat for 2012

Roller Derby: The Penn Bruisers take on the Mon Monsters

  • Sunday, December 9th, 2012,
  • Romp N Roll in Glenshaw: 1661 E. Sutter Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116.
  • Doors 5:00, derby action 6:00.
  • $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Kids 10 and under get in FREE!!
