Happy Friday! Here is our list of things to to this weekend that we shared on WDVE this morning.  You can listen to us talk with Jim and Randy most Friday mornings at 6:45 am.  This is a weekend with lots of goodbye winter – hello spring events.  Start your weekend off with a Friday Fish Fry and then check out one of the many spring time events on Saturday and Sunday.

Fish Fry of the Week – St. Nicholas in Monroeville

  • 2010 Haymaker Road, Monroeville PA
  • Word on the street is that they have french fries and some amazing cole slaw too
  • Fridays 4-7pm during lent

Tornado Alley opens at the Science Center

  • Friday and Saturday – meet Sean Casey and check out the tornado tracking vehicle
  • Saturday night – special screening of Tornado Alley and discussion with Sean Casey of Storm Trackers

A Walk to End Poverty

  • Saturday, March 26 – 9am
  • North Park
  • Benefits CHS – Community Human Services

Intro to Coffee Class at Aldo Coffee in Mt. Lebanon

  • Saturday, March 26 – 2pm
  • Learn everything you ever wanted to know about coffee and more

Latin American & Carribean Festival

  • Saturday, March 26, Noon-Midnight
  • William Pitt Union, University of Pittsburgh
  • Dancing, performances, food, and kids activities

Maple Sugar Festivals

  • PA Maple Festival – annual celebration of all things maple starts this weekend in Mayersdale (near Somerset, PA) and runs for 3 weekends
  • March Madness @ Beechwood Farms is Saturday, March 26 from 10-3

Keystone State Wrestling Alliance

  • Joe Abby Memorial Tournament
  • Saturday, March 26 @ the Lawrenceville Moose on 51st St.

    St. Nicholas on Haymaker Rd in Monroeville has the best fish sandwich in Allegheny County!!
