I know there are a few people who didn’t get to dust of their lederhosen and make it to the annual Oktoberfest celebrations at Penn Brewery and Hofbrauhaus.  But there is more Oktoberfest fun to be had in Pittsburgh…

The Knights of Columbus and St. Thomas á Becket Oktoberfest
Oct. 16, 2010
Mass begins at 5 p.m. with sacred hymns to a polka-style beat by the Henny & The Versa J’s.
7 to 10 pm – After the Mass, dinner and dancing will be from at the VIP-Garden Room along Corritan Drive in South Park.
The public is invited. For more information, call 412-655-2885.

Cook your own Oktoberfest Feast! Pittsburgh food bloggers Joe and Besty made their own Oktoberfest feast – including pretzels, struedle and the works – check out the photos and recipes here.

Oktoberfest Burrito @ MadMex – now through October 10 – grilled steak, braised red cabbage and black bean mashers inside, mustard and applesauce outside. Pair this with one of their many fall beers.
