16 Pieces of Pittsburgh You Can Buy on Etsy

Etsy is an online marketplace where you can buy handmade and vintage items from over 2 million different vendors.  Last week I was browsing the Etsy blog and was inspired by their current contest – to enter you just have to create a treasury (which is Etsy speak for  a collection of things on Etsy).  So I did a search for Pittsburgh and put together this collection of 16 items of Pittsburgh.  Some are handmade – some are vintage – all are very Pittsburgh ( I decided to save all things Steelers for a future treasury).

There is a great Etsy community here in Pittsburgh – you can learn more about Pittsburgh’s Etsy uses on the Steeltown Etsy Blog here.

This Pittsburgh themed collection includes items from

  • Reconstructing Ideas
  • Garbella
  • Fresh Popcorn Productions
  • Cardamom Press – check out the profile of Cardamom from the Pittsburgh design blog Steeltown Anthem
  • Printsnat
  • Jet Set Paper
  • ThePoint

Shop offline – want to buy some of these items in person? Many of the hand made items included in this collected are available at the shop Wildcard on Butler Street in Lawrenceville.

But wait, there’s more!– Looking for more Pittsburgh on Etsy – check out Daffodil Vintage and the Red Pop Shop – both are Etsy shops based in Pittsburgh.

Do you shop on Etsy? Who are your favorite Pittsbugh Etsy sellers?
