Have you ever thought to yourself, “Gee, if only there was a way I could combine my love of Zumba, empty swimming pools and marine wildlife into one amazing event!”? Well, the good folks in Lawrenceville have figured it out for you. That’s right, its SPILLAPALOOZA, a grassroots benefit for oil spill victims being held this Saturday from 12:30 -7pm at Leslie Park Pool (46th and Butler Streets)! The event will feature a Zumbathon in the pool and loads of music, dancing and festivities. Zumba dancers show up at 12 for registration! Cost is $10 to participate in Zumbathon or $10 for entry to the festival. All proceeds will benefit the Gulf Restoration Network. For more info read all about it in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette!
