In case you missed Handmade Arcade…

Pittsburgh filmmaker Brian Staszal posted a link to his video about HandMade Arcade in the comments back in December.  It is a really nice look at the handmade festivities so I wanted to share the video in a post too.  Even if you missed the handmade marketplace in December – most of the vendors have online websites or a shop at Etsy too.   The video includes an interview with Jennifer Barron – check out her Etsy Shop Fresh Popcorn Productions and the “Black and Gold is the new black t-shirt.  Also seen at Handmade Arcade are the guys from Campfire Goods – they have lots of great t-shirts too.

Handmade Arcade, December 2009 from Brian Staszel on Vimeo.

Pittsburgh’s largest indie craft fair, Handmade Arcade, took over the Hunt Armory in Shadyside December 12, 2009. It was a challenge to show so much talent and all the hard work that went into making the event a success in a short video.

Here are some other blog post follow ups from the 2009 Handmade Arcade

As a patron, Handmade Arcade was phenomenal. So much creativity. I snagged a few holiday gifts there that were very well received. rnr nhttp://stylishwhitefemale.tumblr.com/post/283875950/swf-seeks-handmade
