Free Admission for Kids at PA State Historical Sites in August

Before sending the kids back to school, enjoy a day exploring Pennsylvania history. The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission is offering free admission for children age 17 and under at its 24 historical sites this month. To receive free general admission, children must be accompanied by at least one paying adult. The offer is not valid for special events and programs.

The participating historical sites in Western PA are (click here to see all sites across the state):

  • Fort Pitt Museum
  • Somerset Historical Center
  • Bushy Run Battlefield
  • Old Economy Village
