The Harris is on Hiatus

August 17, 2007 Lindsay

Just wanted to say hello to the good folks from the Harris Grill – and the amazing Pittsburgh Fire department. The Harris caught fire last weekend and will be closed for some time to rebuild. The Pittsburgh Fire department arrived lighting fast, the fire was brought under control quickly and thankfully everyone got out of the building with out any problems. This is sad loss for Pittsburgh’s bacon lovers and out door happy hour fans. In the meantime, we need to find a few good places to drink outside for the last few weeks of summer. Please leave yours suggestions about other great patios to enjoy.

My friends and I like to go to My Brick Oven Pizza which is located on Banksville Road.
You can't miss it, it's a bright yellow building.
They have an outdoor patio on the 2nd floor and it's BYOB!!! We bring our own adult beverages and eat pizza, paninis, wings, salads and gelato for dessert! They even have a fire pit for those chilly evenings.

You should come up to Mt. Washington and visit the wonderful deck on The Shiloh, located in the Vu+ business district on Shiloh St.
They have great happy hour specials.
