YERT Launch Party

June 28, 2007 Lindsay

I have always wanted to take a cross country road trip and really see the country. Now that I spend a lot of time writing about Pittbsurgh I can only imagine that there are great stories all over this country. That is why I envy this project.

YERT = Your Environmental Road Trip

YERT (Your Environmental Road Trip) is a year-long eco-expedition through all 50 United States. With video camera in hand and tongue in cheek, we’ll explore the landscape of America’s unique approach to environmental sustainability…. Follow us each week as we shamelessly bathe ourselves in the best (and weirdest) of America’s ecological progress with a mix of outrageous antics, provocative examples, and thoughtful reporting.

The YERT team is having their launch party right here in Pittsburgh

YERT Launch Party
SAturday, June 30, 12-4pm
Union Project, 801 North Negley Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 US

As I'm sure they folks from YERT are aware, but maybe some readers are not, we have the largest Green Convention Center in the world, here in Pittsburgh!! And one of the largest Green Buildings in North America…with a Gold Leed Rating from opening day!!! It's really amazing the strides they are taking to be on the cutting edge of Green.
