LunaFest: A Film Festival By, For and About Women

When: Tuesday, March 20th

Time: 6:30-9:00pm

Doors open at 6:30pm for a pre-screening reception during which women-centered organizations and businesses will table. Screening will begin at 7:00pm

Where: Eddy Theater , Chatham College

Cost: Free to all students with a valid school i.d. and Chatham faculty and staff; $5 for the public (all proceeds benefit the Cancer Fund and local nonprofit organizations)

LunaFest is a national film festival created by, for, and about women. Chatham College is proud to host Pittsburgh ‘s only screening of LunaFest on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 from 6:30-9:00pm at the Eddy Theater on the Chatham College campus. Exploring a myriad of issues, from domestic violence to body image, a full listing of each documentary can be found at www.lunafest. org. The festival is free to college students and Chatham faculty/staff with a valid school I.D. There is a $5 admission fee for all external guests, with 100% of the proceeds donated to support the Breast Cancer Fund.

About Lindsay


Lindsay has been writing about Pittsburgh for as long as she has been blogging - but fortunatly there are lots of great things about Pittsburgh to share. She likes pretzels from the Pretzel Shop on Carson St., used book stores, her rollerblades and she hopes to learn to skateboard someday soon.
